You just placed your request for a new TTS-160 Panther Telescope Mount, or it might just have arrived at your doorstep. Either way, congratulations!

Basic preparation steps

Before you can use your mount you will need to input some basic parameters beforehand. You can do this quietly indoors. You will need to input the Date & Time, Timezone, and your Geographical Coordinates.

It takes only a few seconds to unfold the legs and mount the pier tube. With the TTS-160 Panther Mount Head, there is no need for levelling the pier making the setup even faster.

Attach counterweights and telescope, and balance your setup

With the azimuth axle being vertical there is only the altitude axle to balance on your Track The Stars Mount. The counterweight can easily be adjusted on the top mount arms.
