User: Gavin Orpin, UK

Flexible, easy to set up and accurate

I’ve been using the panther TTS-160 for over 2 years and it has transformed my observing. In fact, I bought another so I have one at my dark site venue and one at my home.

I’m a visual observer who frequently uses military night vision monoculars to enhance the deep sky viewing.

I’ve found the TTS extremely flexible, easy to set up and accurate.
I use the TTS with a wide range of scopes including a 160mm TEC, C11 Edge, and 103mm William Optics binoscope. The top mounting approach is excellent for Binoscopes as well as telescopes.

I find goto and tracking makes my deep sky and planetary observing sessions much more satisfying. It also allows me to capture some nice smartphone images to record my visual observing sessions for posterity.
I would thoroughly recommend this mount.
