Complexity hidden on the inside to give you simplicity on the outside.

All the technology and delicate working parts are sealed inside smooth anodized aluminum cylinders, so dirt, dust and moisture stay out. The streamlined, compact design also protects the mount from damage during transport or storage. See whats inside here "Look Inside".

Weight optimized for the best stability and portability.

The TTS-160 has been designed to ensure optimal weight for maximum portability without compromising on stability.

Easy to assemble and align.

No physical alignment or adjustment of the mount required – even on uneven surfaces.

Built-in software is designed to handle any set up angle - No polar alignment!

so there’s no need to level the mount, point the mount towards the north or polar align the mount. And you can setup the mount where you cannot see the pole star - e.g. close to the south side of a house to achieve the best protection against wind.

Easy mounting of the telescope.

Standard 3-inch dovetail saddle plate makes mounting of the telescope effortless. For extra stability, mount your telescope on the side of the mount. It’s no problem with an extra dovetail saddle plate. Read more under "A flexible set-up"

Balancing is fast and easy too,

with adjustable counter weights. With the TTS-160, you can even attach extra equipment on the top or side of your telescope.

Simple, precise alignment makes viewing and photographing trouble-free.

  • The TTS-160 mount enables simple one or two star alignment – no time, date or geographic coordinates, polar alignment, or GPS needed
  • Point the mount to one or two bright stars and alignment is complete in a few easy steps. You’re now ready to track the stars and take pictures.
  • The alignment procedure creates the necessary data for perfect control of the Telescope rOTAtor.
